Keavy
Keavy is a rural community just outside of Corbin, and is home of the first Whitaker Bank in Laurel County. The folks are friendly and the scenery is beautiful!
The major local attraction is Laurel River Lake, one of the most scenic lakes in the nation and is located right within the massive Daniel Boone National Forest. With 192 miles of cliff-lined shore and 5,600 surface acres, it is one of the deepest lakes in Kentucky.
The area offers the finest in family recreation: fishing, camping, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, diving - or just come to relax at one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Kentucky.
